Much like her respected clients, attorney Melody Poole shares a lineage of family settling in the United States of America over several generations, under many variants of US immigration law, and by all manner of visa pathways.
Melody commits to helping her clients with their journey to the USA. Whether seeking opportunity or reuniting with loved ones, a temporary journey or a permanent relocation, individual consideration is given to all clients.
Melody credits an entrepreneurial spirit and Bachelors in Business Administration in fueling her passion for helping small businesses succeed. Some of her favorite aspects of immigration law are its forward-looking nature, and the myriad of people she encounters daily.
Melody earned her JD and Texas bar admission in 2008, and immediately dove into a diverse caseload at Lone Star Legal Aid, the fourth largest free legal aid provider in the US. At Lone Star, Melody operated as a general practitioner for the indigent of Galveston and Brazoria Counties. In 2014, Melody drew on her University of Houston Law Center clinical training in founding Poole Law Center.
Melody currently serves as the President of the Galveston County Bar Association and Panel Chair on a State Bar of Texas Grievance Committee, following years of service as a board member for the Galveston County Bar Association and Galveston County Young Lawyer Section. Service and family paramount, Melody and her husband Eric volunteer at their church, around the community, and cherish time with their son, now in college, and daughter, in preschool.
